We offer the best rental equipment for backcountry and freeride ski and snowboard in Madaro / Myoko area with delivery across all of Japan, including touring skis with pin and hybrid bindings, splitboards, avalanche equipment, etc. All our rental gear has been tested by our guides, to make sure is suitable for the snow conditions we have in Japan.

ALL JAPAN DELIVERY

Make your snow trip as hassle-free as possible while saving on rental costs. We can deliver by courier to any resort in Japan, and provide you with a pre-filled courier slip so you can return the gear back to us from your accommodation or any convenience store.

And if you stay at La Colina Retreat or join any of our guided tours, you will also receive a hefty discount on all our rentals.

FAQS & POLICIES

Reservations

We like to make your reservation process as seamless as possible. Make sure to book your reservation 48 hours prior to your arrival at Madarao/Myoko area, or 4 days in advance for rental delivery service. Guests at La Colina Retreat can book at any time as long as equipment is available.
A minimum of two days rental is required for rental delivery service.

Payment policy

We require a credit card payment to hold your reservation. You can make any adjustments or additions throughout the reservation period prior to 4 days before receiving the gear.

What does the damage waiver cover?

We expect a reasonable amount of wear and tear while using our gear – it lets us know you’ve been getting after it! An optional damage waiver is available and covers damage to equipment that requires labor or repair beyond a standard tune and wax. This kind of damage includes base, edge, or top sheet damage. If you’re planning on pushing your limits or skiing or riding hard, we highly recommend securing this additional coverage. Please note it does NOT cover damage due to NEGLIGENCE, THEFT, or LOSS (e.g., skiing down the road to your accommodations or leaving your backpack to melt by the fire).

Why don’t you rent boots?

Boots are very personal and we recommend bringing your own to make the best of your experience. If you need boots contact us and we will introduce you to any of our preferred partners in your area.

Can I return my equipment early?

You must notify us ASAP if you wish to return your equipment prior to your pre-arranged return date. Equipment must be returned by 6:00 p.m. the evening prior to your requested refund date in order to be eligible for a refund for the following day. Same-day refund requests are not available. We do not offer refunds for unused days within your rental period.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your reservation up to 4 days prior to your scheduled delivery at NO CHARGE. If you cancel within the 4-day window, you will be subject to a charge of one full-day rental per person plus applicable delivery fees if the equipment has been shipped already. That said, we know winter travel can be unpredictable. That’s why reservations can be rescheduled without charge.

Do you wax and tune your equipment?

All our skis and boards are waxed and tuned as they returns to suit the prevailing conditions.
