Hot Wax (Iron)

Hand wax with your choice of temperature range, scrape extra wax off and polish the base with nylon and horsehair brushes.
A wax iron is used to encourage the pores of the base to open up and accept the wax, achieving a higher wax penetration. Iron waxing is recommended for boards that have not been waxed in a while and present very dry bases.
